Spring Break 2025 took us aboard the Disney Wonder, and from the moment we stepped into the atrium and heard the crew announce our family name, the magic began. The ship was bursting with Disney charm, music in the air, characters greeting guests, and that unmistakable sense of excitement that only Disney can create.
Even though the weather brought a few cloudy skies and breezy afternoons, it hardly mattered. There was so much to do, see, and experience that we never missed a beat. From incredible dining and Broadway-caliber shows to relaxing adult-only escapes and nonstop family fun, this cruise reminded us why Disney is in a league of its own when it comes to creating unforgettable vacations.
Disney sets the gold standard for family cruising, and the Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab proved it. My boys dove into themed play spaces, hands-on activities, and character visits while the amazing crew kept everything running seamlessly. They begged to stay longer every time we picked them up, a sure sign of success.

Seeing favorite characters around every corner never gets old. We met Captain Mickey in his crisp whites, hugged Minnie in her nautical best, and even ran into Goofy mid-shuffleboard. Princess gatherings, Marvel heroes, and surprise appearances made every hallway a little magical. No long theme-park lines, just pure Disney moments.

From made-to-order breakfasts to rotational dining each evening, every meal was a treat. The themed restaurants, especially Tiana’s Place, where the live jazz and beignets steal the show, offered incredible food with that signature Disney flair.
We also made time for Palo, the adults-only specialty restaurant, and it was absolutely worth it. The elegant Italian-inspired menu, ocean views, and exceptional service made it one of the most memorable dining experiences at sea. From the perfectly seared filet to the famous chocolate soufflé, every bite felt like pure indulgence.
Quick bites on deck and room-service desserts rounded out a culinary lineup that made every appetite happy, no matter the hour.

Night after night, the Disney Wonder shines with incredible entertainment. Frozen, A Musical Spectacular had the entire audience singing along, while Disney Dreams blended nostalgia, humor, and jaw-dropping talent in true Disney fashion. Live music filled lounges throughout the ship, and high-energy deck parties kept the fun going well into the night.
One of the biggest highlights? Pirate Night, when the entire ship transforms into a swashbuckling celebration. Guests of all ages don their pirate gear, dance under the stars, and cheer on their favorite characters during the lively deck party. The night ends with fireworks at sea, a Disney Cruise Line exclusive that lights up the ocean sky and leaves everyone in awe.

Rain clouds? No problem. The Disney Wonder is packed with activities: movie marathons in the Buena Vista Theatre, trivia games, crafts, cooking demos, and cozy lounges perfect for reading or sipping coffee. We never once felt stuck indoors.
